  1. Where is it?
    • On Mandriva 2010.2, it is in the Start menu under Education | Educational suite GCompris.
  1. Why doesn't it start?
    • "Couldn't find the board menu /, or plugin execution error."
      • See [mailing list thread] for a solution.
        • A corruption of the user's activity database is possible. It is located here:

> ~/.config/gcompris/gcompris_sqlite.db

> Rename it to save it (it contains all your customization). Restart GCompris and it will be rebuilt. If the software works, probably the file was corrupted and any per-user customization is lost.
